Residence Permit

I. Initial Application Material

1. Passport.

2. Admission Notice of Yangzhou Polytechnic College (original and copy).

3. Form JW202 (the yellow copy, original and copy).

4. Health Certificate (issued by Yangzhou Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau).

5.Certificate Application for Foreign Students (issued by International Students Office).

6.Temporary Accommodation Registration Form for Overseas Personnel (issued by Police Station).

7. A piece of passport photo.

8. Certificate of study issued by the college authority and the official letter indicating the duration of study.

9. Legal person certificate of public institution and organization code certificate issued by the college authority.

10. The official written reply issued by college authority on accepting foreign students.

II. Application for Extension of Residence Permit

1. Passport;

2. Certificate Application for Foreign Students (issued by International Students Office);

3.Temporary Accommodation Registration Form for Overseas Personnel (issued by Police Station);

4. A piece of passport photo.

III. Cost and Time Limit for Applying for Residence Permits

1. Cost: 400 yuan for the validity of 1 year (excluding 1 year);

2. Time limit: 10-15 working days;

3. Information provided by the Immigration Administration shall prevail;

4. The cost of applying for the Residence Permit or visa and the cost of preparing relevant documents shall be borne by the international students, including public and self-funded students.

IV. Change of Resident Permit

1. If the off-campus residence address of the holder of the Residence Permit has changed, the applicant should apply to the International Students Office to fill in the Off-campus Accommodation Registration Form for International Students in Yangzhou Polytechnic College, and register at the local police station within 24 hours of the change;

2. If the name of the holder of the Residence Permit, the reason for residence (including dropping out, leaving the college early and others), passport number, accompanying person, college and other information has changed, the applicant must go to the International Students Office to fill in the Certificate Application for Foreign Students as soon as possible, and apply for the change to the Immigration Administration within 10 days of the change.

V. Notes

1. The Certificate Application for Foreign Students is only a letter of certification issued by the college and is not equivalent to a Residence Permit or visa. Students must go to the Exit-Entry Administration of Yangzhou Public Security Bureau to apply for a Residence Permit with this Application and other materials required.

2. International students entering China with X1 visa must apply for a Residence Permit within 30 days from the date of entry.

3.
