IV. Training objectives
This talent training program is tailored to international students in China. The “Chinese language + professional skill” training mode aims specifically to cultivate students’ international vision and all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetic to meet the need of modern tourism industry. Students should master theoretical knowledge and skills of tourism service and management, have comprehensive practical ability and innovation ability with strong foreign language ability and high ecological awareness, be familiar with international tourism laws and regulations and international etiquette, and be able to engage in junior and intermediate tourism management in tourist attractions, travel agencies, hotels and other tourism enterprises and institutions.

The talents trained in this major mainly work in ground level, middle management positions and high-level service positions in tourism enterprises.
Main positions in travel agencies: general manager office clerk, plan adjustment commissioner, outreach commissioner, reception clerk, national guide, local guide, product sales commissioner.
