This talent training program is tailored to international students in China. The “Chinese language + professional skill” training mode aims specifically to cultivate international students’ all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetic. Students should have the basic professional knowledge and skills necessary for medical laboratory, master various laboratory technologies, and be able to engage in clinical laboratory (including pathological laboratory and health laboratory, etc.) work in hospitals and centers for Disease Control and Prevention at all levels, central blood stations, independent laboratories, physical examination centers and other relevant testing industries.

Course nature: Vocational basic course

Course content: This course includes basic knowledge, basic theory and basic skills of human morphological structure and function. After learning the course, students can tell the composition and division of each system of the human body, understand that the human body is a unified organic whole, and describe the position, form and important structure of each major organ; students can accurately indicate the names and locations of important blood vessels and nerves on models, specimens or living bodies; students can master the laws of various life activities of normal human body, and understand in particular those physiological functions which are most closely related to clinical laboratory work and their occurrence process, principles and the influence of internal and external environment on them, so as to meet the needs of laboratory occupation. Course content: Biochemistry is the science of life chemistry, that is, the science of studying the chemical composition and chemical change rules of living organisms including human body at the molecular level. After learning the course, students should be able to understand the molecular pathogenesis of some diseases and be able to relate to clinical laboratory applications.
