Introduction to School of International Exchange

Founded in February 2006, School of International Exchange is one of the earliest vocational colleges in Jiangsu province to set up Sino-foreign cooperative school-running programs. The school has established friendly relationships with 31 colleges and universities, including Mann University in France, Hailan Community College in the United States, St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology in Canada, West London University in the United Kingdom, Daegu University in Korea and Puqing University, and has developed more than 10 Sino-foreign cooperative education programsand undergraduate degree programs. In 2017, the school launched the program of international students’ education in China, with over 200 international students from 15 countries studying in YPC successively. In response to the Belt and Road initiative, the school has established close cooperative relationships with ASEAN countries, the African Union and Portuguese-speaking countries, building platforms for government-school-enterprise cooperation, carrying out language and skills training and academic education, and providing talent training services. The school is the first batch of alliance colleges with direct access to undergraduate education abroad in Jiangsu Province, member unit of Jiangsu-American Higher Vocational Education Cooperation Alliance and ‘the Belt and Road ‘Talents Training Cooperation Alliance of Higher Vocational Colleges in Jiangsu province. The school’s cooperative program with Thai Tech Group Thailand was identified asone of the China-ASEAN Successful TVET Cooperative Programs.
